What type of thinset do we recommend for Superdry?

We recommend using Laticrete 254, Mapei Ultraflex, Ardex X 77, and Prolite thinsets for all applications, both interior and exterior, as they are C2TES1 rated.

The most important factor is to use any cement-based adhesive that is classified as C2 S1 or C2 S2. These are the ideal and recommended adhesives for installing the Superdry membrane.

This higher polymer content means a higher manufacturing cost, yet we offer it at a price comparable to similar products, ensuring an excellent value for the money.

Adhesion and Grip: The Superdry membrane offers superior grip on supports, thanks to the geotextiles on both sides being made of a special polyester. This material has more than double the adhesive grip compared to the polypropylene geotextiles used in many competing products, which tend to be more rigid to the touch and during installation, and often show worse adherence to substrates.
