Limited Lifetime Warranty

This Limited Lifetime Warranty applies to Products purchased directly from QM Drain, an authorized QM Drain Seller, Distributor, or through the QM Drain website, and covers the Products against defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the Product.

The finish (i.e., the color coating) applied to stainless steel Products—including Polished, Luxe Gray, Champagne, Bronze, Black, and Gold finishes—is warranted for a period of three (3) years from the date of purchase only.

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

Exclusions & Limitations

QM Drain is not responsible for damages resulting from:

  • Use of abrasives, sealants, or harsh cleaning products, including bleach, muriatic acid, chlorine, or other pool chemicals.
  • Misuse, neglect, or improper maintenance of the product’s finish.
  • Damage caused by accidents, abuse, fire, insects, animals, or hard water.
  • Improper installation, storage, or handling.
  • Alteration or modification of the product from its original condition.

It is the purchaser's responsibility to maintain the product finish and follow the applicable cleaning instructions.

Installation must be performed by a licensed professional; however, licensure alone does not guarantee proper installation, and installation quality is equally important to the product's performance. We strongly recommend confirming that the installer follows QM Drain's installation guidelines, as improper installation may void this warranty. We recommend checking local and state plumbing codes prior to installation.

Labor Charges

This warranty does not cover labor charges or associated costs for installation, removal, repair, replacement, shipping, handling, or any other related expense. QM Drain's liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective Product, at QM Drain's option, and in no event will QM Drain's liability exceed the price of the Product, as reflected on the original invoice, giving rise to the claim.

Warranty Claims

If you discover a defect, please report it to QM Drain within thirty (30) days of discovering the issue. The original invoice, as proof of purchase, must be made available for all warranty claims. The defective Product must be held available for inspection by an authorized QM Drain representative. Upon confirmation of a defect, the Product will be repaired or replaced at QM Drain's discretion.

Disclaimer of Other Warranties and Limitation of Liability

QM Drain disclaims all other warranties, whether express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. This Limited Warranty replaces any and all other warranties of the Products, and QM Drain makes no other warranty of any kind, whether written, oral, express, or implied.

QM Drain is not liable for any direct, indirect, compensatory, incidental, punitive, or consequential loss, claim, or damages, or for damages arising from loss of profits or loss of business related to the Products. Nothing in this section, however, limits or excludes QM Drain's liability for damages resulting from its own gross negligence or willful misconduct, or for personal injury or death caused by a defective Product—these liabilities cannot be limited by agreement under applicable law.
