This design allows the water to invisibly flow through the spaces in the tile, to the base until it reaches the drain outlet, maintaining a seamless and elegant appearance in your bathroom. Crafted specifically for modern waterproofing methods, it's ideal for new homes or renovation projects.

Can I have a custom size for the Invisible Shower Tray?
Yes, we do offer custom sizes. However, we recommend using our standard sizes as most cases, you only need to cover the area where water falls from the showerhead and the splash zone. For any remaining space, you can create fixed tile areas with a subtle 0.5% slope to maintain effective drainage and a clean installation. How does the Invisible Shower Tray prevent mold and bacteria buildup?
The Invisible Shower Tray is designed to resist mold, mildew, and bacteria from the inside out. Made from high-density polyurethane and coated with polyurea, it won’t absorb moisture. The entire system is pre-waterproofed and thermo-sealed to prevent water from penetrating underneath or around the tray. Plus, its pre-sloped V-channel ensures fast drainage, eliminating stagnant water. With no exposed grates, grout lines, or hidden cavities where moisture and soap scum can collect, the result is a clean, hygienic, and low-maintenance shower solution.

What else do I need to buy for installation?
The Invisible Shower Tray kit includes everything you need to install the tray, such as the tray itself, drain body, tile frame, waterproofing band, wall trim (optional), and an adhesive cleaning/lifting key. If you’re installing a curbless shower, we recommend adding Superdry waterproofing for the rest of the shower floor, walls, and any adjacent wet zones for complete moisture protection.

What is the Invisible Shower Tray made of?
It’s constructed from high-performance polyurethane coated with polyurea, making it exceptionally durable and waterproof. With a compressive strength of 290 psi, it's so strong you could drive a car over it without causing damage! It is incredibly strong and lightweight, making it the ideal drainage system.

How much space do I need to leave between tiles?
Leave 2–4 mm between each tile and maintain a 4 mm perimeter gap around the edges of the tray to allow for proper movement and drainage.

If the shower tray doesn't cover the full shower area, what should I do?
You can extend the floor with fixed tile sections and apply a 0.5% slope to ensure water flows back toward the main tray and drain area. This is especially common in larger or custom-shaped showers.

How can I clean the Invisible Drain and can I access the outlet?
Yes. The included lifting key allows you to easily remove the tile insert and access the drain base and outlet for maintenance. Simply lift, clean, and reset the tiles—no tools or grout removal required.

What kind of tiles can I use?
We recommend using ceramic or porcelain large-format tiles for the best performance and finish. These materials are highly durable, non-porous, and easy to maintain. You can choose any tile style as long as it’s large enough to cover the width of the tray—this is essential for achieving the seamless, invisible look.

Natural stone is not recommended, as it is porous and more prone to water absorption, which can lead to staining, warping, or mold over time.
