Easy to Install
The waterproofing collar comes pre-attached and sealed to the channel at the factory. Connect directly to your plumbing with the included coupling, finish waterproofing with the Superdry membrane, and tile on top.

Fast, efficient water removal. Connects to plumbing with the included coupling.

What is a flange-edge linear drain?

A flange-edge linear drain has an integrated flange along the channel edge, creating a watertight seal at the drain itself. Designed specifically for modern waterproofing installation methods.

Can this drain be cut to size on-site?

No. This drain comes in fixed standard lengths: 24", 28", 32", 36", 48", and 58". For custom lengths or off-center outlet placement, see our Adjustable Linear Drain.

What is the difference between modern and traditional waterproofing installation?

Traditional installation uses two layers of sloped mortar with a waterproofing liner sandwiched in between.

Modern installation uses a single sloped mortar layer. The Superdry membrane replaces the liner and eliminates the second pour — waterproof once and tile directly on top. Fewer steps, less material, and a faster result on the job.

Is this drain compatible with Schluter Kerdi?

No. The Wedgewire Flange-Edge Linear Drain is designed to work exclusively with QM Drain's Superdry Waterproofing Membrane. Combining different waterproofing systems will void the warranty for both manufacturers. Every kit includes 32 sq. ft. of Superdry membrane, and additional rolls are available separately for walls and bathroom floors.

How much overlap is required when installing the Superdry membrane?

A minimum 3" overlap is recommended at all seams for a complete watertight installation.

What tile sizes are compatible?

All tile sizes and formats.

What is the Superdry Waterproofing Membrane?

Superdry is QM Drain's proprietary waterproofing membrane, pre-sealed to the drain flange at the factory. Ultra-strong, flexible, and mold and mildew-resistant with uncoupling benefits and strong tile grip for long-term stability.

Can this drain be used for curbless or barrier-free showers?

Yes. The low 1" profile and flange-edge design make it ideal for curbless showers, open-concept wet rooms, and barrier-free installations.

Is this drain code compliant?

Yes. Meets UPC, National Plumbing Code of Canada, and ANSI A118.10-2014 (R2019). See details here

What is the optional Tile Guard frame?

The Tile Guard is a protective metal trim that covers exposed tile edges around the drain, preventing chipping and cracking for a clean, professional finish. Available as an optional add-on.

Why is 316 stainless steel better than 304?

316SS offers superior corrosion and rust resistance and is the preferred choice for wet environments and coastal applications, providing better longevity than 304SS. It often saves money over time by significantly reducing the need for premature replacements due to corrosion

Can this drain be used outdoors?

Yes. Marine-grade 316 stainless steel makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor wet environments.
