Compare Outdoor Drainage Systems

1. Invisible Modular Drain - Hidden Drainage System

This modular hidden drain is made to blend in with outdoor tile or stone. Water flows through small gaps between the tiles that sit on top of the drain base. Once installed, you barely notice it — just thin lines between the tiles where water disappears into the sloped base and into the plumbing.

The drain is built from separate pieces that connect easily, like LEGO blocks. You can shape it any way you need straight, L-shaped, rectangular, or square.

It’s fully watertight and built to handle sun, rain, and snow without breaking down. It’s also anti-bacterial and mold-resistant to stay cleaner longer. With a strength rating of 240 PSI, it’s strong enough for areas with lots of foot traffic.

Perfect for pool decks, balconies, or wellness areas, it looks clean and modern while keeping these outdoor areas dry.

Is it complicated/difficult to install?

Nope, it’s designed to be easy. It has straightforward steps to prepare, install, and seal it. It works with common tools and materials most installers already have.

2. Linear Adjustable Drains

The Adjustable Linear Drain is designed to give installers flexibility during installation. You can cut it on-site to fit your space, and place the outlet anywhere along the channel — so it lines up perfectly with your plumbing without needing to move pipes.

You can also connect channels to any length using joiner pieces, or shape it into L-shapes, straight lines, or square and rectangular areas. This makes it a smart choice for projects with unique layouts or tricky dimensions.

Built from 316 stainless steel, it's durable, rust and corrosion-resistant, and strong enough for outdoor or high-traffic areas. Great for patios, balconies, pool areas, or outdoor showers, this drain gives you both performance and design flexibility.

Is it hard to install?

No, it’s designed to make the process easier. You can cut it to size, adjust the outlet, and connect multiple pieces right on-site. That means fewer delays and less hassle for installers. Once the drain is assembled to the SPECS needed, it installs just like any other linear drain.

3. Center Drains

A center drain is the most common type of drain. It sits in the middle of the floor and lets water flow toward it from all sides. This makes it a simple and effective choice for showers, patios, and wet rooms.

Our center drains are made from 316 stainless steel, which is strong and resists rust and damage. It’s a great option for outdoor spaces or homes near the ocean. Center drains come in many sizes and styles. They are easy to install and work with most waterproofing systems.

Installation Options

There are two ways to install a center drain:

1. Traditional Method:

This method takes a few days. It uses layers of concrete (called mortar) and waterproofing, like plastic liners or hot mop, and connects to plumbing with a Flange/Drain Body. This is how most showers were built in the past; some installers prefer this traditional install.

2. Modern Method:

This method is faster. It uses only one layer of sloped mortar and a waterproofing sheet like Superdry. Tile can go right on top. This method is rapidly gaining popularity for its added benefits.

This option is popular because it:
  • Keeps mold and mildew from forming under the tiles.
  • Protects the tiles from cracking when the house shifts or settles.
  • It is much quicker than traditional, allowing installers to get more jobs done in a short amount of time.
