Note: When a curbless shower is the desired design, we advise adding our Bracket Kit to recess the wood subfloor for a perfect and easy curbless installation.

What is a prefabricated shower pan kit?

A prefabricated shower pan kit is a ready-to-install shower base that comes pre-sloped and pre-waterproofed. It eliminates the need for building a mortar bed, making installation faster and more consistent.

Can I cut the shower pan to fit my bathroom?

Yes, our shower pans can be trimmed to size to suit the specific dimensions of your bathroom. This allows for a custom fit in any shower space, whether it’s a new build or a renovation project.

Can this prefabricated shower pan be installed on wood or concrete subfloors?

Yes. This shower pan can be installed on both wood and concrete subfloors.

The subfloor should be clean, level, and properly prepared before installation to ensure a stable, long-lasting result.

What type of tile can be used with this shower pan?

This shower pan supports all tile types, including large-format tile, standard tile, and small mosaics.

Does the kit include everything needed for installation?

Yes. The kit includes the pre-sloped shower pan, waterproofing membrane, drain support, bands, corners, and square drain components.

Does the system help prevent cracks or tile failure?

Yes. The included waterproofing membrane also provides uncoupling, which helps reduce stress between the substrate and tile to prevent cracking.

Do I need to recess the floor for a curbless shower?

For a flush finish, a curbless (zero-entry) shower may require the subfloor to be lowered, depending on the build.

This pre-fab shower pan has a low profile (0.63" height), which helps reduce how much recessing is needed. If recessing is required, you can use a recess bracket kit to lower the subfloor without cutting or modifying joists.

Do I need to buy anything else besides this kit?

Nope, the kit includes all components needed to install the shower pan, connect the drain to plumbing, and seal seams and corners for a watertight system.

For full waterproofing, you may add Superdry waterproofing membrane to the shower walls and the surrounding bathroom floor.
